My doctor informed me that starting my 30th week, I need to go in twice a week for stress testing. It's a 1/2 hour session where they will monitor the baby's heartbeat. If they find any abnormalities, they will need to deliver early. My doctor doesn't anticipate any issues, but is taking extra precautions because of what happened to Naomi. She says this is typical protocol after a stillbirth. They try to check out the umbilical cord whenever possible, but it all really depends on the way the baby is positioned during the ultrasound.
He is so precious, we can't wait to meet him! Noah has been coming with me to my ultrasounds to see his baby brother... he loves hearing the rapid heartbeat.
