Palm Springs - Day 2



On day 2, we had an amazing breakfast at King's Highway at the Ace Hotel.

i must say...the lighting was very good that day!

We all ordered the same exact breakfast sandwich!
Brioche bun, harissa aioli, fried egg, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, sprouts

Next stop - Palm Springs Art Museum

 

We really enjoyed this museum! 
It's a mid-sized museum with cool contemporary and modern art.

The guard (who we thought was a total freak) ended up following us around the whole museum!  CREEPY!

Next stop - Parker Hotel

The outside of the Parker resort was also pretty awesome.  They had hammocks, pools, ping pong, tennis, croquet, bocce ball, fountains, a lemonade bar and an outdoor fire pit. I would love to stay there one day!

The interesting thing about going to Palm Springs in August was that many of the popular restaurants were closed for summer break.  I guess it's too hot to work there in August?
