Noah - The Collected Works

In early April, we attended "The Collected Works" art show at Noah's school.  They had closed down the school for a whole day to set up for this evening event.  Each classroom focused on one artist to base their art pieces on.  Noah's class chose Jim Dine, an American pop artist.  They transformed the classrooms into a mini museum. Some of the other artists that were chosen included Warhol and Picasso.

Description of event:

"Through the process of The Collected Works, the children and faculty of Aspirations School of Learning embark on a journey together each year which lasts several months. They research and explore the lives and mediums of some of the world's finest artists, developing a deep understanding of how art comes to life. This experience is filled with magic and passion, and fosters in our children a deep appreciation for the arts."

We were so impressed with all of the different pieces the children have created over the past few months.

Enjoy!

I love that Noah's abstract art looks so official with the description on the bottom right.
