One day at a time

I can't believe one week has already flown by. Last Tuesday, we went to the cemetery to plan Naomi's memorial. The hardest part was choosing her little white casket. Dex and I also went shopping for Naomi's white dress. It broke my heart to shop and see all of the cute outfits...just another reminder of what I was looking forward to doing for our baby girl.

We still have many "to do's" before Naomi's memorial service this Thursday.

- Choose songs for her memorial

- Order doves for the graveside service

- Buy her a teddy bear and blanket

- Write eulogy

- Choose and reserve a restaurant for the reception

- Drop off anything that we want to put in the casket on Wed.

- Finalize flowers

- Finalize the wording for her grave

It has been extremely difficult to stay focused. Everything in our world has stopped and everything else keeps going at the speed of light. But as we grieve, there are many things that makes us smile...

1. Noah showing us his dance moves - especially when he shakes his booty and throws his hands up in the air

2. When Noah gives us a big hug and says "love"

3. The love and support from our closest friends and family. Cards, emails, and phone calls with heartfelt messages...the gorgeous flowers...

4. Cooked meals from friends and family

5. The Lakers!

6. A deep tissue massage scheduled on Valentine's Day
